Consultation platform

Care continuity across every role.

Carepath connects the patient, the doctor, the laboratory, and the administrator around a single consultation record — so nothing is retyped, lost between systems, or seen by someone who shouldn't see it.

What the platform does

Every surface works from the same record, so the handoffs between them are explicit rather than improvised.

  • Booking that holds its state

A booking draft records consent before anything is confirmed, so an appointment never advances past what the patient actually agreed to.

  • Encounters, not loose notes

Consultations produce a structured encounter with prescriptions and investigation orders attached to the same episode of care.

  • Laboratory in the same thread

Specimen collection and results return to the ordering doctor for review, then to the patient — no separate portal, no re-keying.

  • Access decided by role

Permissions are evaluated per request against role, organisation, care relationship, and consent — not assumed from a login.

  • Verified clinicians

Doctors move through a six-state verification lifecycle, and administrative roles require a second factor before a session is issued.

  • A record patients can read

Prescriptions, reports, and visit summaries are presented back to the patient in plain language, with their own history in one timeline.

One path, end to end

A consultation moves through defined states. Each transition is recorded, and none of them can be skipped.

  1. Sign in and book

The patient signs in with a one-time code, chooses a doctor, and reviews what the consultation covers before confirming.

  2. Consent, then confirm

The booking captures consent server-side and holds the appointment until payment is settled by the configured provider.

  3. Check in and consult

Check-in opens on a defined window before the scheduled start. The doctor records the encounter, prescription, and any investigations.

  4. Results and follow-up

The laboratory records the specimen and result, the ordering doctor reviews it, the patient sees it, and a follow-up can be booked from the same episode.

Built for four kinds of work

  • Patients

Book consultations, check in, read prescriptions and lab results, and keep one history across visits.

  • Doctors

Run encounters, prescribe, order investigations, and review results for the patients under your care.

  • Laboratories

Receive investigation orders, record specimen collection, and return results to the ordering clinician.

  • Administrators

Verify clinicians, manage organisations and locations, and review the audit trail behind access decisions.
